the future...
So Osama's dead it's a great thing but what happens now? He is just one terrorist. There are still others out there that are going to hate or try to hurt us more. I'm kinda nervous that he followers will try and attack the U.S. again to try and get back at us. This was a huge step to trying to end things but in no way are things over. We will still have troops over there because there will be a new leader soon enough. As much as we would all like to think this will help, in my opinion all this is doing is making Osama's followers upset even more with us, but it was something that has to be done.

I totally agree with you! I feel like everyone has forgotten that we were doing this out of retaliation and these are terrorists we're talking about so it is highly unlikely that they will not strike back. And what if whoever takes Osama's place is even worse?
ReplyDeleteI think that its a huge step in the right direction. I might not, and probably will not end the war, but its one less terrorist to worry about. He was the master mind behind a lot of the terrorist attacks, and when a leader falls from power there is not always someone willing to step up. And if someone is stupid enough to do so, America will fight. The war is not over, and it probably hasn't even begun, but for the ROTC boys running past my dorm at 6am, I hope it ends soon!
